Expanding Surface Area 900 Times — Equivalent to Two Standard Basketball Courts
KOJO Technology's New Crystal Ep-G Series Debuts
Since the launch of the Crystal E-G Grounding Box, which demonstrated exceptional grounding performance, followed by the EoP-G, KOJO Technology officially initiated the "Golden Grounding Project." Now, the latest member of this lineup, the Crystal Ep-G compact plug-and-play grounding box, is set to launch in Hong Kong at the end of October. This product offers users yet another excellent grounding solution, delivering an extraordinary "golden experience" beyond imagination.
Crystal Ep-G: Compact Yet Powerful
As the third installment in the "Golden Grounding Project," the Crystal Ep-G embodies the design philosophy of "compact yet powerful." Like its predecessor, the Crystal Ep, it retains a sleek "candle-like" or "finger-shaped" design but incorporates groundbreaking technology. This advancement significantly expands the surface area of its conductor, approximately 900 times greater than traditional Ep models. Despite its compact size, it provides robust support for electrical circuit grounding.
Key Features of the Crystal Ep-G Series
- Flagship Double-Layer Capacitors (Super Capacitors): Arranged in a radial cylindrical structure, offering a grounding surface area of 10,000,000 cm².
- Revolutionary Surface Area Expansion: Utilizes porous activated carbon electrodes within the capacitors, greatly increasing the effective grounding surface area compared to conventional capacitors.
- 900 Times Greater Surface Area: Provides approximately 900 times the grounding surface area of the entry-level Crystal Ep.
- Vibration and Interference Suppression: Brass casing minimizes vibrations and external interference.
- Ultra-Compact Design: A plug-and-play grounding box with remarkable portability.
- Versatile Plug Options: Comes with 10 interchangeable plug types to suit various applications.
- Expandable Design: Can be connected to other Ep or Crystal E series grounding boxes for enhanced performance.
- Made in Aomori, Japan.
Design Philosophy
The Crystal series revolves around the concepts of "clarity" and "refinement." The Crystal Ep-G series, with its slim and elegant profile, features a dual-color gold/nickel-plated design, complemented by understated white silk-screened branding. Crafted from brass and meticulously finished, the series harmonizes functionality with aesthetics.
Exceptional Grounding Performance
The Crystal Ep-G showcases KOJO Technology's expertise in grounding technology. Its double-layer capacitors dramatically expand the conductor surface area using specially etched high-purity aluminum foil and porous activated carbon. Though the nominal surface area is just 70 cm², its effective conductor surface area reaches an astounding 10,000,000 cm²—over 900 times larger than the Crystal Ep's 11,000 cm². To put it in perspective, a single Crystal Ep-G provides a conductor surface area equivalent to two basketball courts, achieving unprecedented performance in a compact form.
Sustainable Design
The Crystal Ep-G series also emphasizes sustainability. Its components—plugs, main body, and protective cap—are constructed with M5-threaded structures for easy disassembly and replacement. Users can connect multiple Crystal Ep-G units in series, leaving a plug and protective cap unused, which can be repurposed into an RCA end cap to prevent loss and ensure functionality. The series can also connect to other KOJO Technology grounding products, such as the Crystal E-G, using Y-type cables, further enhancing performance.
Flexible Interchangeable Plugs
The Crystal Ep-G series offers up to 10 plug types, all of which are interchangeable for various needs:
- RCA Plug (Crystal EpR-G): Versatile for most audio systems.
- 3.5mm Plug (Crystal EpT3-G): Compatible with DAPs and devices with headphone connections.
- Banana Plug (Crystal EpB-G) and Y-Terminals (Crystal EpY-G): Suitable for audio equipment, amplifiers, and speakers.
- XLR Plugs (Crystal EpXH-G and EpXW-G): Available in male and female types for professional setups.
- USB Type-A Plug (Crystal EpUA-G): For computers, NAS, and Wi-Fi routers.
- LAN Plug (Crystal EpL-G): Designed for network equipment.
- USB-C Plug (Crystal EpUC-G): For laptops and modern DAPs.
- HDMI Plug (Crystal EpHA-G): Perfect for audio-visual equipment.
Enhanced Audio Quality
The Crystal Ep-G series significantly improves signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) without causing "thin" or "dull" sound issues. Users can enjoy richer musical details, clearer sound extension, and an enhanced sense of stereo space, akin to being present at a live performance. Instruments and vocals gain a more tangible, textured quality, elevating the listening experience.
